I’m Jannika Koskela, a graduated dental hygienist from Turku. I spent my childhood in the great outdoors of Virrat. Now I live in Tammela, Tampere with my husband and our dog. I am a gentle and sympathetic oral health care professional and there is no need to feel nervous about booking an appointment with me. I have experience with patients of all ages, both in the public and private dental care sector. The most important thing for me is that the patient receives the best treatment possible. I am calm and will always explain what happens in each stage of treatment to patients with fear.

The best thing about a dental hygienist’s job is getting to work with different types of patients and improving their health. I always strive to take care of the whole general health of the patient so I always have time to also small talk and have a conversation. The best thing about my work is when I can help the patient; for example, the reason for headaches can sometimes be found from occlusal muscles. What I love about my job is also that I have the opportunity to focus on each individual patient by listening to their wishes and needs.

My qualifications include dental calculus removal, powder polishing, teeth whitening, tooth jewels and massage of occlusal muscles. Clean and well-taken-care-of teeth make you feel fresh and more confident so do not hesitate to get in touch!
