I graduated from the University of Tampere in 2023 as a specialist in oral radiology. I completed my dental studies at the University of Turku and graduated in 1998. I therefore have a long clinical career as a private dentist behind me, and I have provided a wide range of dental care, from treatments related to occlusal physiology to root canal therapy and prosthodontics.

I gradually developed an interest in radiology during my clinical work, and as part of my path to specialization, I have also gained experience in demanding oral imaging examinations.

My career and specialization in radiology took me from Hämeenlinna Central Hospital to the Oral Imaging Unit at Tays and, additionally, to the Pirkanmaa Oral Specialty Care Unit.

In my free time, I maintain and care for the buildings and grounds of an old farmstead, with my elderly herding dog busily tagging along.

Travel is close to my heart. I also enjoy continuing education, as well as suspenseful audiobooks.
