Specialist Dentist in Prosthodontics and Occlusion Physiology

I graduated from the University of Turku as a dentist in 2012 and became a specialist in prosthodontics and occlusal physiology in 2020. I began my career as a dentist in public health care, where I also provided emergency dental care for several years. As I pursued my specialization, I also became familiar with the university hospital and the teaching dental clinic.

My areas of expertise include comprehensive occlusal rehabilitation, cosmetic treatments, prosthodontics (e.g., crowns, bridges, removable dentures, and implant work), as well as the treatment of occlusal physiology disorders. I have further deepened my expertise in root canal treatments during my specialization.

I also continue to enjoy providing basic dental care, and when treating patients who suffer from dental anxiety, I strive to listen to the patient and address their fears, even under sedation if necessary.

What I particularly enjoy about my work is meeting different kinds of people, and I strive to create a calm, supportive atmosphere in my practice. I make treatment decisions together with the patient, based on up-to-date information and in an ethically sound manner. It’s important to me that patients understand the rationale behind their treatment, so I strive to explain and discuss matters clearly and openly.

I spend most of my free time keeping busy with my energetic little boy, but time spent with family and friends is also important to me. I maintain my physical well-being by biking to work, doing Pilates fairly regularly, and working out at the gym from time to time.

I warmly welcome both new and returning patients to my practice.
