Sanna Ylipulli

Dental hygienist

I graduated as a dental hygienist from Oulu in 2015. After graduation, I began working in my hometown of Pori, where I spent a few years in the public sector treating both children and adults. Ever since my student days, my main interest has been improving people’s health and well-being through oral health. I have also assisted dentists with various procedures, which has broadened my perspective on comprehensive dental care.

I transitioned to the private sector in early 2018 when I moved to Tampere. In the private sector, in addition to oral health and general well-being, I am interested in cosmetic dental care and its impact on well-being and self-confidence. I enjoy performing surface stain removal with a powder cleaner and teeth whitening procedures. My responsibilities also include thorough dental cleanings to remove tartar and bacterial plaque, maintenance care for gum disease, fluoride treatments, placing dental jewelry, and providing home care instructions.

My goal is to make the treatment as pain-free as possible so that patients can return to the office without anxiety for their next appointment. If necessary, we can use anesthetics.

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of physical activities. Right now, my main focus is on padel, for which I also train regularly. I also really enjoy hiking on nature trails and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
