Jarkko Kalliala

Specialist Dentist in Prosthodontics and Occlusion Physiology

I graduated as a specialist dentist from the University of Tampere in 2023 and as a dentist from the University of Helsinki in 2013. In addition to working in the private sector, I have worked at a hospital’s oral and maxillofacial outpatient clinic, a specialized oral care unit, and a health center.

At Helmiäinen, I collaborate with experts in various specialties to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. My own practice focuses on my specialty areas, including removable prosthetics (partial and full dentures), implant prosthetics, crowns and bridges, bite rehabilitation, bite splints, and sleep apnea splints. In addition to these, I provide cosmetic dentistry and, when necessary, general dental care.

I am happy to treat patients who suffer from dental anxiety, and my practice is friendly and welcoming. If necessary, treatment can be performed under premedication. Prosthetic treatment generally cannot be performed under general anesthesia. I strive to provide a prompt, relaxed, and patient-centered treatment experience.

In my free time, I’m actively involved in professional organizations. I currently serve on the board of the Finnish Dental Association.
